The other thing that you need is a news reader, if you do not want to read news in a web browser. There are some free ones and some paid ones. I used to use Agent, paid; although there is also a free Agent. Outlook Express has a newsreader, as does Netscape. For Mac some like Mac Soup and I am currently using

All good news reader software does this. That way what you have written comes up on someone else's screen without flowing over the edge. You had that problem under control for a If you really get desparate you could try downloading Free Agent from <http:\\www.forteinc.com>. It lets you do all these things.

Interestingly, when Brad quoted my post, his Agent newsreader changed the degree symbol. Yours, however, did not. What I saw when I looked at Brad's post, was the 90º. Just like it looks when you or I do it. But, when you made the comment, I see what you were refering to in his post. In your post I can see the line

I
export my Agent newsreader mailbox to Eudora, because with Eudora I can search through all my past messages (over 1500) for specific text, whereas with Agent I can only 3. I find files on www.windows95.com using their WinNav utility, and on ftp sites using Ftp Search (http://ftpsearch.unit.no/ftpsearch) 4.

Netscape, most broken newsreader award winner.
I use Agent newsreader and know it is something very simple I have just forgot. I use Agent 2.0. Select the encrypted text, then choose Edit | Apply ROT13. If you use a different version, I use Agent 1.93 (the version before yours) and the keyboard shortcut is to highlight the ROT13'd text and then go ctrl-3.

Also the crash doesn't harm the message base, so I could only recomend using Agent with Wine. I don't know about the offical builds, though. I always use CVS to build wine. I keep getting 3 errors in the console, and then it tells me it cant open the XXXX.ini file - sorry, cant remember the exact file name.

To FURTHER try and ensure that the problem was not Agent related, I downloaded and tried a trial copy of Microplanet's
